I recently worked with Chadwicks of Boston on a fun spring outfit featuring their Long Sleeve Stretch Poplin Shirt, Tummy-Control Crop Pants By Shape Benefits, and Thong Sandals By Boston Design Studio. I have not worked with them before, so I was excited to be able to try out their clothes!
I went with the dark navy dots poplin long-sleeve shirt. They offer nine styles, but I wanted something classic for an upcoming special event. I usually wear a medium (size 12), which fits a bit snugly around the bust, so that I would order up a size next time. I usually don’t wear button-down shirts but have already worn this several times with boyfriend khakis for a casual look. The shirts are available in misses, petite, and women’s sizes from 4-18, and they are only $27, a great value for the quality of the shirt!
The tummy-control crop pants fit perfectly! Unlike most pants nowadays, these sit right below the waist, where your bottom shows when you bend over. The pants have a 26″ inseam, which looks like capris on the model, but come right above my ankle as I am on the shorter side, only 5’6″. Three other colors are available: a neutral chino and two spring colors, ambrosia (pale green) and sea coral (peachy). I love love love when I can find a great pair of pants, especially ones that I can wear with multiple clothes!
These thong sandals have a 1″ wedge heel, something I am not used to. I prefer my sandals flat but wanted to try a dressier pair of shoes for my event. With eight colors available, they can be worn dressed up or down.
Each season, Chadwicks introduces a beautiful assortment of new styles inspired by current trends but interpreted in a more wearable way for today’s women. I can’t wait to pick up one of their summer dresses!
