I think I have just found my new go-to site for cute kid shoes! See Kai Run creates shoes for children that are designed specifically for growing feet. All See Kai Run shoes are proportionally engineered for a child’s foot and designed to promote healthy foot development. See Kai Run was started in 2004 by a Seattle mom who on a quest to find a shoe that was best in health and design for her son’s feet. She was looking for fun, sophisticated styles that also promoted healthy foot development; but she didn’t find any, so she created See Kai Run.
I received two pairs of what my girls call “dressy play shoes”. My girls love to wear dresses but not always the dressy sandals or boots that go with them, and their gym shoes can look too sloppy. I chose the Hot Pink Florence (MSRP $43) style shoe for my 4-year-old and the Blue Italya (MSRP $43) for my 7-year-old. Both pairs of shoes are absolutely adorable. The soles are nice and sturdy and the stitching is tight to withstand lots of playing without fraying. I love the hard rubber sole that comes up all around the edge and then continues in a coordinating color up over the toes. This will hopefully prevent the front of the shoes from getting ripped up with the kids drag their feet.
The See Kai Run website provides you with all the information you need to make sure you are selecting the right sizes and shoes for your children. See Kai Run offers you a downloadable size chart along with a breakdown of what sizes generally works best for each age group to help you make the best choices. There is even more, information under their best in fit section. Here is where you will find information on each developmental stage of children’s feet from birth to 8 years of age. Reading all of this made me realize the true of quality shoes for my active kids.
In addition to these shoes being cute, See Kai Run Shoes are made with a quality that I can tell that I will be able to pass them down after my kids have grown out of them. See Kai Run shoes are definitely worth the investment!
