I worked on a review with San Antonio Shoemakers last summer on a pair of their Sanibel Sandals. Here it is a year later, and I still love them, from the summery orange to the comfort they provide.

Well, SAS recently reached out to me to review their new handbag, the Jackie in Orange Perf (MSRP $240). At first, when I saw it online, I was skeptical that I would like such a bold color choice. I usually go for neutrals, so the animal print handle against an orange purse seemed a wild choice.

The four circles are the hidden magnets that keep the handbag closed. They are strong, too, so you won’t have to worry about your items falling out if the handbag tips over.

The Jackie is made from perforated real Italian leather, just the outside offers the perforated design though. You can see the thickness of the material.

The inside is fully lined with “full grain pigskin.” It is smaller than what I normally carry around (I do have 3 kids!), but it is large enough to carry all your essentials for your big date night or night out on the town!

Once I received the handbag, my opinion did change! I LOVE the summery color; even my husband said it is stylish and sophisticated. This is a handbag that I would use on a special occasion, and I feel confident doing so!

While the hardware is imported from Italy, the handbag is made in the U.S.A. The Jackie is available in 13 other stunning colors, including prints, textured, and solids. So, what’s your favorite?
